Degree: Minimum BEng or BSc level. 2 years as service, support or production engineer within scientific instruments industry, ideally microscopy or laser photonics. Sales experience preferred.
Essential Skills:
1. Good language and communication skills, in both Chinese and English.
2. Service engineer skills including failure analysis, soldering, harnessing, electrical and mechanical assembly etc.
3. Organised, able to efficiently schedule trips to maximize customer visits, driving license required.
4. Overnight travel is required. The ability to get a VISA to the UK and USA is required.
Job Duties:
1. Responsible for product introduction, demonstration and application training.
2. Answer and resolve customer’s product enquiry and technical issues effectively, producing support material for customers.
3. Manage demo instruments in Prior China.
4. Carry out repair or upgrade works on RMA instrument from clients.
5. Work alongside with sales, distributors and other stakeholders to support business development.
Other Tasks:
1. Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
2. Typically involves booth set up and breakdown along with customer meetings and sales support in the booth
3. Liaising with other members of the organization to solve problems
4. Any other duties as reasonably required by management.
