Oral Collection Kit Instructions
The Gentueri™ Oral Collection Kit is designed for simple collection of an oral sample using a SimpleSwab™ and SwabSaver®. Do not consume any food or drink in the 30 minutes prior to sample collection. Please follow the instructions below and be careful not to touch the swab head.

• Open the foil pouch containing the SwabSaver® by tearing at the notch above the zip lock (you will need to save the foil pouch to return the swab).
• Remove the SwabSaver® and pop it open by putting pressure on the front section of the cap. Place it in the holder (hole) on the front left side of the kit box.
• Remove a SimpleSwab™ from the kit and open the package.
• Place the head of the swab in your mouth and using moderate pressure run it along the gum-line and under the tongue. Once the swab head is wet with saliva (5 seconds), rub up and down on the inside of each cheek for 20 seconds. Immediately remove swab, being careful not to touch swab tip against teeth, lips, or other surface.
• Pick up the SwabSaver® from the holder and place the head   of the swab into the SwabSaver® and eject the head off the swab by pushing on the blue plunger.
• Close the cap of the SwabSaver® by putting your fingers under the collar and using your thumb to push down on the top of the cap ensuring it is “snapped” closed.
• Place the SwabSavers® back in the original foil pouch and seal it with the zip lock closure.
• Lift the tab noted as STEP 4 on the box to reach the return pouch. Open the return envelope and place the foil pouch with the sample inside and seal the pouch.
