Gentueri Sexual Assault Collection Kit
The Gentueri Sexual Assault Collection Kit is designed for the simple collection, preservation and processing of samples from a victim of sexual assault without the need to pre-dry the swabs or package the swabs into a swab box. This kit saves a lot of time and reduces errors by eliminating the need to pre-dry swabs and package them into swab boxes since the swab isreturned directly into the original sleeve and placed immediately into the appropriate pre-labeled envelope. Samples will be protected and preserved at room temperature by drying the sample during transport to the laboratory. This new design provides the easiest kit to use for sample collection and process since many steps are eliminated.
The kits are designed to simplify the workflow by having pre-labeled envelopes and a section for individually wrapped swabs. This eliminates the need to reach into each envelop and remove the swab and swab box. Once the collection is complete, the swab with a sample is returned to the sleeve and the opened sleeve with the swab is placed into the appropriate envelope.
