SureSpectrum imaging spectrograph and scanning monochromator features a triple grating turret, standard motorized slits, easy fiber optic integration and dual exit ports for maximum versatility. Available in both 250mm and 500mm focal lengths, the SureSpectrum provides the highest image quality in the industry. SureSpectrum imaging spectrograph and scanning monochromator is offered with complete computer control of all mechanical and optical functions, including slit width selection, grating selection, exit mirror positioning and wavelength selection.
For over 15 years, SureSpectrum has provided the highest degree of spatial resolution available from comparable multi-grating spectrographs. Employing proprietary reflective optics in a modified Czerny-Turner optical system to correct for astigmatism and imaging errors, SureSpectrum imaging spectrographs have been designed to provide superior imaging properties and maximize the performance with CCD detectors. The SureSpectrum optical system design permits the maximum number of fibers to be vertically resolved across the full focal plane of any commercial triple grating spectrograph.
Utilizing a unique f/# matching fiber optic input adapter mounted to the entrance slit, SureSpectrum eliminates the difficulty of coupling the fiber optic bundles to the spectrograph. The coupling mechanism used by Bruker to mount single fibers or vertical stacks of fibers to the entrance slit offers the extremely repeatable and easy to install methods of attaching the fibers. By f/# matching the output of the fiber to the spectrograph, the user avoids overfilling the optical system (which acts as a source of stray light) or underfilling the optical system (which has a negative effect on throughput and resolution).
All of the optical components for SureSpectrum are mounted from the same, solid one-piece base plate, ensuring a very stable and reliable optical alignment platform.
