Mouse mAb to CDw78 leu 21 Ba a-gen
Clone DF1588
lsotype Mouse IgG1-k
Source
A BALB/c mouse was immunized and SP2/0 cells were used for fusion with splenocytes.
Specifications
Cdw78 (also called Ba antigen, Leu21 or LO-panB-a) is present on some immature and some mature B cells. Its expression is greatly increased after B-cell activation in vitro (Kikutani et al. 1986). It is also found on tissue macrophages and on epithelial cells, but not on T cells, NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes and myeloid tissues (Dorken et al., 1989). One MoAb was shown to inhibit B cell proliferation. DF1588 was typed at WORKSHOP IV.

*Immunohistochemistry on sections of lymphoid tissues.
