Description:
Human proprotein convertase
subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9), also known as
FH3, HCHOLA3, and PC9, GenBank Accession
No. NM_174936, a.a. 31-692(end), with Cterminal
His-tag, MW=71.8 kDa (calculated),
expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system.
PCSK9 is autocleaved to the ~14 kDa prodomain
(a.a. 31-152) and the ~58 kDa
mature form (a.a. 153-692(end)), which run at
higher apparent MW by SDS-PAGE.

Assay Conditions: 50 mL reaction mix (50mM
HEPES pH7.4, 100mM NaCl, 300nM CaCl2,
0.05% Tween, 0.1% BSA, and up to 1500ng
PCSK9) add to the wells coated with LDLR
Ectodomain. Incubate for 2hr. Add antibody
against polyhistidine and then incubate 1 hr. Add
secondary HRP labeled antibody and incubate 30
min. Finally, add HRP chemiluminescent
substrates and read luminescence.

Application:
Useful for studying protein binding 
and screening small molecules.

Formulated in: 40 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 110
mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, and 20% glycerol.

Stability: >6 months at –80°C
