金刚石笔Scribe

这种精确 90˚楔状(刀片宽度1mm)的金刚石笔与其它大多数点状金刚石刀不同，这种笔的独特刀片技术，可切割薄壁石英管而不损坏切割面，且产生很少的切割碎片。

如何切割用于Nano-LC/MS的熔融石英毛细管

在准备使用喷针和色谱柱前，熔融石英毛细管的准确切割是一个至关重要却又容易忽视的操作。切割平整光滑能确保与其它熔融石英毛细管连接时保持低死体积。同时，切割也不会产生颗粒物堵塞管路。推荐使用高品质金刚石内芯或刀片切割管路。New Objective公司生产的金刚石切割工具切口平整一致，产生很少的切割碎片。不推荐使用便宜的碳化物刻划工具和陶瓷晶片，因为它们极容易产生低质量的切割末端（如碎裂），并产生许多切割碎片。

警告：在处理熔融石英毛细管和喷针的过程中很容易导致皮肤和眼睛受伤，因此请使用符合ANSI Z87.1-1989标准或同等标准的安全眼睛或护目镜，并随时穿带防破裂和耐化学品的手套。

将要切割的管路放在平坦、干净的桌面上，把切割工具垂直放在管路表面（如图1B和2C）。刀片的长面应垂直于管路的内径（如图2B）。
轻轻地直往下按，注意在下压时不要有来回切割的动作，只需在聚酰亚胺镀层的表面切个缺口即可（如图3C）。注意不要用力切管路，否则可能导致末端碎裂，产生切割碎片（如图3D）。
沿着刀片头慢慢切管路，很容易就能切开接口。如果还不行，那么稍微加重力量重复上述步骤。图4为一个典型切割过的外径360 µm、内径75 µm熔融石英毛细管。表面缺口平均小于或等于10 µm。
