为了进一步减少低品质葡萄的产量,减少欧盟对葡萄酒产业的补贴,同时提高欧盟葡萄酒的国际竞争力,2011年欧盟启动了EU科研项目PREMIVM(improving grape quality with multiparametric field analysis of grapes and leaves in vineyards,通过葡萄园中葡萄与叶片的田间多参数分析提高葡萄品质)。
叶绿素荧光技术是目前检测植物生长状况与受胁迫程度最为重要的无损测量技术之一,不但适用于测量叶片,也可以测量含有叶绿素的果实。同时葡萄果实在成熟过程中,其糖分、叶绿素、多酚、氮素和花青素等色素和生化成分都会有相应的变化。反射光谱技术正是无损检测这些成分的最佳工具。
这一项目初期主要使用PSI公司(Photon Systems Instruments)专门为此项目开发的WINEPEN 叶绿素荧光与光谱仪。
